About the performance:  Based on the book of the same name by J.M. Coetzee, The Lives of Animals centers around a series of lectures regarding animal rights, delivered by fictional novelist Elizabeth Costello.  Punctuating these lectures are scenes of surreal animal interactions, tense family dynamics, and humorous transformations.  This thought-provoking performance is sure to cause audiences to deeply consider their own beliefs about and relationships with members of other species.

Toy Boat Comm. Art Space is located at 101 Fairview Rd., Asheville, NC
Doors at 7:30, show at 8 p.m
